I've have the idea about human head turn into a butterfly for long time.

There is a story about an ideologist, that dreamed he had turned into a butterfly, once he became aware of his dream, he wondered if he dreamed about being the butterfly or if the butterfly dreamed about being him. 

Death free the soul from the body, just like a butterfly emerges from the cocoon.
